Donate today in support of Physicians for Human Rights’ Family Separation Justice Fund, created to help secure justice for those impacted by years of cruel, inhuman, and degrading immigration policy.
Supporters of this fund will directly contribute to PHR’s groundbreaking work to document the psychological and physical trauma – and even torture – of the Trump administration’s immigration policies. It will also ensure that we can continue working with our partners through our Asylum Network to provide pro bono forensic medical evaluations for separated families seeking safe haven in the United States and continue to insist that we can, and we must, welcome all asylum seekers with dignity.
The money from this fund will immediately go to:
-
Advocating for the unaccompanied children crossing the border to be reunited with a parent or relative who is currently in the United States;
-
Supporting the reauthorization of the Obama-era Central American Minors program, where minors can apply for asylum in their countries of origin, eliminating the harrowing journey from their home country to the U.S.-Mexico border;
-
Providing expert medical guidance on how best to support the children, families, and asylum seekers currently being held in detention centers; and
-
Advocating for redress and restitution for the families who have suffered incredible hardship and trauma as they sought asylum and fled horrific violence in their home countries.
Please, make your fully tax-deductible donation today to enable us to continue this important work.
